Im an independent children and YA writer, blogger, artist, and lyricist. While I found my passion for art in my childhood and teenage years, my writing journey began in my early twenties. In 2005, I self-published my memoir for the first time in English and German.

In 2014 I republished my life story with the title Destination Freedom, also known as The Stolen Years in Zurich. I enjoyed strong media exposure and public interest during the refugee crisis in the summer of 2015. Placements included two features with the British newspaper the Daily Mirror as well as interviews with popular British lifestyle websites Female First and Frost Magazine.

For decades my mum and I had to fight against injustice, prejudice, discrimination, racism, and social isolation. The awful pain, the feeling of hope and helplessness, and the suffering in silence made us who we are today. My main goal in writing my stories (fiction and non-fiction) and writing song lyrics is to entertain but also educate, empower, and inspire readers and music lovers about the topics that are close to my heart.
