TEDDY & LILY, TRUE FRIENDSHIP IS UNCONDITIONAL LOYALTY
5 Star review by British Novelist Julia Blake
This beautiful book is perfect for teaching children valuable life lessons about love and loyalty.
Teddy & Lily tells the tale of a teddy bear's life after he's rescued from an
airport souvenir shop by a little girl called Lily. Happily settling with his new, loving family,
Teddy has many lessons to learn in his role as Lily's constant companion, especially those of
overcoming jealousy as other, equally beloved, toys come into Lily's life. Instilling valuable life lessons in a way that
children can understand, this book is a must for parents to read to their children, and for children to read to themselves,
and would be particularly helpful upon the arrival of new siblings. Teaching the child that the heart has an infinite capacity for love.
A pretty little book, just the right size for small hands, it is full of brightly coloured pictures to
illustrate the story of Teddy & Lily, and can be read and enjoyed by children and adults alike.
5 Star review by American Children book Author Kate Dickinson
This book really spoke to my heart. It reminded me a lot of my childhood and brought back memories I haven't had
in a long time. Teddy & "Lily reminded me of the importance of all relationships in life, and how they make up your life story.
My favorite part was the flower analogy... All friendships need water to flourish,
and if they aren't watered, they will die. What an incredible book!
5 Star review by Author & Blogger Carol Ann Kauffmann
Teddy & Lily by Lily Amis was a lovely story of friendship and life, told from a teddy bear's perspective.
The gentle and soothing tone of the story is ideal for children, although the storyline is timeless and
ageless and can be enjoyed by all. I think Teddy & Lily is destined to become a children's classic.
BIRDY & FISHY, DESTINATION:FREEDOM
5 Star review by British Author, Blogger & Youtuber J.Paul
A short, but sweet story about Fishy's desire for freedom, and the way in which Birdy helps her to achieve that.
Enjoyable and a nice quick read. I liked it very much, along with the message it sends to the reader in that you
don't know how lucky you are until faced with your own privilege, and that there is always hope, you just have to find it.
5 Star review by American Author Brittany Lewis
I really enjoyed this story and I read it to my daughter. We laughed as we read it because we could really picture Fishy doing what was described in the book!
I would like to read more children’s stories from this author in the future.

Bon Voyage: Monsieur Jac & Lily Travel to Europe by Lily Amis is a heartwarming and fascinating story that revolves around the
travels of Monsieur Jac Couture and little Lily. Being a war refugee, Lily does not have a passport as yet and cannot
leave her country. But Jac, Lily's super smart friend, the tiny snail, comes up with an excellent idea that sees Jac and
Lily deciding to travel and discover the beauty of Europe, its historic cities, and sharing with readers the essence of
each place they have visited in Europe. They begin their trip in Italy and take readers to Austria, Hungary, Germany,
Netherlands, Belgium, and France, leaving them yearning to travel to Europe and also developing an interest in discovering new places.
The book is interesting and exciting and makes readers want to explore new places. The illustrations are cute and give an idea
of what to see in these historical cities. It's a good bedtime storybook for parents and grandparents to read out to their kids and grandkids.
The book can also be kept in school libraries as it makes good reference material and will instill a love for traveling among children.
Readers also get to learn about the places of interest, the food, and the important landmarks in all the place they visit.
The author also reiterates the presence of angels in her life and their protection,
love, and care. The book is vibrant, charming, and filled with fun and excitement.
AMERICAS ROYAL FAMILY
5 Star review by ReadersFavorite.com
Lily Amis’s America’s Royal Family is what I would call a humorous adventure parody. Lisy is a lonely girl and all she wants
is a family who will love her and make her feel as though she belongs. She suddenly is fed up with feeling this
way and on a whim she flies from Switzerland to the United States in search of the elusive America’s Royal Family.
Lily Amis writes an enjoyable, engaging and entertaining story that will keep you guessing… ‘Who is America’s Royal family?’
and ‘do they really exist?’ As Lisy travels from New York to Washington and then to Los Angeles, she has some of the biggest
celebrities and historical figures completely stumped as she searches for America’s Royal Family.
An enjoyable satire that brings to life some current issues faced by social media and today’s materialism and superficiality.
Lily Amis highlights these issues in an adventurous and fun way. While aimed at either children or adults – this book will
have different meanings to both - I would actually suggest that this is best suited to the pre-teen and teenager market, given
its references to social media and image obsession. These are two primary issues that affect the youth of today and will continue
to become more prevalent as technology advances. The illustrations are wonderfully added, making this a very different story, one that you
will remember and certainly talk about afterwards. I highly commend this author for her creativity, imagination, and enchanting storytelling
in a tale that will be enjoyed by many.

Heartbreaking, honest- a light shining on the difficult topic of war and leaving home to seek a better life.
This memoir went straight to the heart of what makes us all connect to each other. Love, devastation, fear and so many other factors
that divide humanity and the world. I am honored to have shared this journey. The family love and the relationship
between mother and daughter is touching and enviable. I am so glad I read this!

By telling her story author Amis hoped to be a “voice for the voiceless of the world.” She opened my eyes to understanding the
frustrations and heartbreak for an asylum seeker. And yet this was also a beautiful story of the loving bond between a mother and her child,
of their courage and strength, and their amazing journey of triumph over heartbreak. With gifts of intelligence and talent Lily and
her Mom more than survived, but that is the subject of the other two books in the trilogy.
I highly recommend this book, which is beautifully written with an honesty and passion to bring justice to other refugees like Ms. Amis.

This is one of those memoirs where once you're finished reading it, you're no longer the same person.
Lily writes about her experiences growing up around Asia and Europe with such transparency that it feels
like you're experiencing these years of turmoil with her. It's absolutely shocking and devastating to see
the trials that she went through, and all the people who made her life a living hell, but once you see what
she's doing with that experience now, it will be enough to inspire you to think greater of your own past.
